Trying to get a job when you have nothing to offer the employer is HARD. Argggggggggg ........ I 'm trying to impress them with my soft skills  I bet many of you went thru it once or are going to go thru it... getting first job takes time | |

She said sometimes it is better if u send ur resume or application directly to a person who is incharge rather than the HR(human resources department). I dont know much about it but she told me that. i'll forward you the email she sent me. It was all about networking and jobs. | |

Rep Power: 248 | Re: Jobs.........:@ stress on your soft skills..thye matter alot. work on your cover letter...that's what catches attention of the employer... good cover letter will get you attention..good resume will get you an interview.. If you have an interview remeber you have been called because they believe you can do the job..all you have to do now is tell your skills verbally..make good eye comtact..be relaxed..give examples of everything you say.. what you say will make an impression of you.. They know what yoiu tell them..and don't lie..but do stretch on good things Be diplomatic.. Good luck applying | |
