Funny posts in serious threads

I think anyone who has ever started a serious thread must have been annoyed at least once by someone who keeps ruining the thread by posting funny posts in it. It is in a way making fun of the serious thread. I find it annoying. I was talking to sydneychamp and he finds it annoying too.
There are enough funny threads to go and have fun in. Please spare the serious threads.
So, I would like to request everyone to please not make fun of serious posts or threads or post any kind of funny and ridiculous material in serious posts. It totally ruins the topic and leads it into a different direction.

If you have sumthing sensible and serious to say, you are more than welcome, but please dont make fun of/in serious threads. They are certainly not funny for the people who are seriously posting in the thread.

i kno one shudnt always b funny sometimes a man shud get serious but we cum here for fun .........to relax from everyday tensions........

Bullet veer.. I agree with you.. one doesn't need to be serious all the time. But the thing is that if you wish to joke around and have fun.. there are plenty other threads to post such jokes/funny comments in. If someone is having a serious discussion in a thread.. i'm sure we can spare that discussion.
