few days back a sikh boy was assaulted and his hair was cut forcibly ..

&

today also in DElHI 2 guys forcibly cut the hair of an another sikh youth....

in ur opinion wt should be the punishment given to such culprits ? ..

do tin hor mamle eho je je samne aye taaa kale kale munde de sir de baal katan di jaga gardana wadnia shuru kardeniya ure sardaran ne..

fer sarkar ne aap cheekan marniyaa

je govt koi initiative nai chak sakdi eho je religious setback issues layi taaan baaad ch regret karan da v koi haq ni hona chaida fer sarkar nu ..

Everywhere in the world, it's a widely accepted fact that every single individual has the right to choose his way of living, his religion and his beliefs. These are basic human rights. In my opinion, very strong punishment should be meted out to people who indulge in such forceful acts.

Hum India mein rehte hain Indians hain , jis desh ki misaal di jaati hai har jagah , jahan par har kisi ko apne hisaab se rehne ka haque hai , koi bhi kisi ko kisi bhi baat ke liye force nahi kar sakta , lekin dil bahoot dukhta hai jab aisi baatein sunne ko milti hain News mein , hum log toh sirf dekhte hain aur sunte hain , zara un logo ki socho jin par yeh sab guzarti hai , mere hisaab se jo log aisa ganda kaam karte hain unhe phansi par latka dena chahiye sab ke saamne , case wase se kuch nahi hota , bas seedha pakdo aur maar do , kyonki jab roots hee ukhaad kar fenk denge toh usse plant nahi banega , aur sab jaldi theek ho jaayega , lesson bhi milega doosre logon ko .

I think there would be no one here who wudnt recommend some kinda horrible punishment for the perpetrators...so wud i...

but i think there is a pattern in here...the incidents happened in mutliple locations in a short span of time... almost looked like a premeditated plan....I think someone is doing this deliberately to create communal instability....

The ultimate punishment for a crime should be equal to the harm done by the crime. The old "eye for an eye" policy should hold true. To give some one life imprisonment should not be an option......So,the culprits should be hanged TILL DEATH..........

I totally agree with munda_wakhre_type_da that there should be some immideate steps taken by the central as well as the state governments where these incidents have taken place. If prompt action is not taken against the preprators they will stand emboldened and do more damage. Remember it is these small things which add up to big incidents.
I feel that the culprits should be made to do kar sewa at Sri Harmandir Sahib @ Amritsar for at least a week. So that they can see for themselves what sikhism is all about.
I would like to add that in one of the incidents it so happened that the boy ( I think he was from Karnal ) got his hair cut himself. Then fearing that he will be admonished by his parents he cooked up a story , in which he said he was kiddnapped and his hair forcibly cut. Luckily the truth came out and any further incident was averted.
I am not sure as to how many of you would have been through the turbulent times in punjab during the mid 80's and early 90's. It was really bad specially for the people living in villages. I hope and pray that times like that never come around again .
Religion is always a HOT topic, Anywhere and everywhere in the world. So as educated people I implore all of you to show utmost restraint while commenting on issues related to it. Just dont get me wrong that I am saying that this thread is not right. It is a very welcome thread and it shows that our Users are very observant and relate to day 2 day topics in our country.
