Rep Power: 103 | Today's headline in Economic Times: Arjun Singh's new formula propopses 49.5% reservation in IITs and IIMs. Such premier educational institutes of India. With already seats as less as about 4500 and 900 respectively, how justified is such a proposal.... leave alone the decision that comes out of it. To be able to make it to these places, people study for as long as 4 years and do nothing at all. Moreover, on one hand, we talk of globalising India's top quality education and on the other hand, we talk of such things. Where can all these resrvations take us??? Drop in your views, reviews, comments and compliments. | |
