"The cool guy" Born on December 17, 1978, he made his debut in 2003 with Tujhe Meri Kasam which was an average hit at the box office. An architect by education, this young lad has made a mark as one of the most dependable supporting actors in Hindi Film Industry. Little Tidbits Ritesh’s Hobbies: During his free time, Ritesh loves playing cricket and watching films. He also likes partying at Athena, a popular Mumbai nightclub. His favourite holiday destination is New York. His take on the song "Boro Boro" (from Bulffmaster) - Boro boro was sung by a Swedish singer, Arash. I didn't understand a word he was saying or singing, but it was a catchy tune. The way the song is placed in the film is quite interesting as one thing leads to another in that situation. A couple of lines are sung in Hindi and I remember saying why bother to do that when it sounds cooler the way it is. Tell us more about Fight Club...how was it working with the boys? "They were a mad bunch of animals! I felt like I was in a zoo", - Ritesh Deshmukh "My dream woman is tall, pretty and possesses a good sense of humour. And if she were more intelligent than I, I wouldn't be intimidated", - Ritesh Deshmukh Discussion What do you think about Ritesh? Does he have a chance in the future in Bollywood? Do you like him? Hate him?...If so ..why? Believe it or not Ritesh replaced Saif Ali Khan in Bluffmaster. What do you think of that? Did Ritesh do justice to the role? Would Saif have been able to do it better? He has mainly taken on comic roles, rather than serious roles. Do you think he has a chance with serious roles? Or should we sticky to comic roles? Ritesh won Zee Cine Award Best Actor in a Comic Role for 2006 for Bluffmaster. Meaning now, we has won the award for that category for 2 years in a role. Do you think we deserved to win this time, with other nominees such asRajpal Yadav (Main Meri Patni Aur Woh), Fardeen Khan (No Entry), Anil Kapoor (No Entry) and others?
