What is an average IT job salary in Chandigarh?

Hi

I am looking for a salary table, or a pay scale for IT jobs in Chandigarh.
Its not easy getting a reply from the employment board.

What do you think is the average salary for an IT employee, working in an MNC? Lets presume the person has done a MCA and has 2 years work experience?

Any rough estimates?

I think companies like adobe pays some wat arnd 4 lakh/annum......just a guess not sure

Depends on the company... Companies like quark, dell can pay you anything netween 4-6 lakh per annum.. but as of now IT jobs in chandigarh are not much, but its soon going to change with the upcoming IT park...

yeah..even i belive ke wid IT companies moving into chd...pay packages will go high.....chd can be a better substitute for bangalore, which is unorganized.

But i will keep my fingures crossed....kuch nahi keh sakde ke da rate at which bangalore growed, je chandigarh di growth hoyi ta ki banu chd da.

Bus 2 hi cheezan to darr lagda ek taa ke kade bangalore waang traffic jam na shuru ho jaan te duja...i hope city ch madrasi di jan sankhaya na vad je.....

AAho ayar yeh te hai.. kuch ani pata lagda... but to be honest Chandigarh Admin is good so it wont let happen anything bad and moroever Chandigarh media is so strong so nothing wrong will ever happen..

haanji Traffic te vadhna hi ahi thoda.. infact vadh gya hai.. lots of people have moved in.. and definitely the city will face more problems in years to come.. but i am sure Chandigarh as always will remain a MODEL CITY...

with highest number of cars propotion to population , traffic is going to be big problem in city beautiful....people don't like to travel by public transport ...no probs for madrasi population they can't survive in chandigarh cold wheather.....

So I take it the average salary would be anywhere between 4-6 lac per annum. Is there anyone who is certain of these numbers? Anyone working in Chandigarh?

well i was working in Chandigarh, but not now... i have worked in Chandigarh for about 3 years.... and i must say IT market (& hence IT jobs) in chandigarh are not much as of now... there are only couple of companies...

You are right about that full_taur. But I feel that IT in chandigarh is going to improve a LOT. Especially because its such an awesome city to live in. And I think all MNCs are now realizing that.

I just hope they don't end up polluting or damaging the city.

I can't imagine chandigarh having lots of sukh sagar and shanti sagars...serving idli dosa vada on banan leaf at every corner.

What i personally feel is lot of IT industry in chd means lot of outsiders. And chandigarh losing its own identity. Chandigarh losing its cheerful culture and other cultures mixing in it. I am not joking....IT industry wale bhaiya ne ta US bhi change karta chandigarh ta fer ki cheez aa.

Even though there will be outsiders, they are still Indian.

Besides that, the IT companies will provide more job opportunities to people of Chandigarh. It will increase Chandigarh's output, help make more money for the city and the people. Ultimately it is the city and its own people that will benefit the most. 'Outsiders' will come and go.

yaar yehi te gal hai.. 'outsiders will come & go' nai hunda.. jo ik var chandigarh aunda hai, he doesnt leave... until & unless koi jyda hi emergency hi ho jaave... this is true for IT peepz, people in other industries even BHAIYA UP te bihaar vale.. sale they also dont leave the city beautiful...

Ya Correct 22 G ....Bangalore waang J Shanti Sagar Te Sukh SDagar ban gaye taan lokaan nu taan Idli Dosyey naal hi gujaara karnaa pau.....

Whta do u expect in chd to be after 2 yrs .....
M planning to shift chd after 2 yrs in IT field....!!!!
