Cool Some Dressing-up Gyaan! (Guys mostly dont have much of this!)

How to be a spruced up monsieur!!!!!!!!

Do’s:
  • When dressing up casually prefer clothing such as jeans, non-denims, gabardines, t-shirts and casual shirts.
  • When dressing up for a party, go in for formal trousers and formal shirts.
  • In winter wear coats (if affordable) and ties, otherwise a v-neck pullover will do.
  • If you don’t happen to rear a beard, shave regularly & always apply an aftershave after each shave (masculine fragrances can spell magic on girls). Twice a week is generally sufficient.
  • While going out (especially to meet someone) don’t forget to apply a soothing masculine cologne/deo even if you have applied an aftershave already.
  • Try and always wear a watch (masculine). It gives you a gentlemanly look.
Some colour combinations having mass appeal~
Casuals:
Blue/Black jeans-white t-shirt/shirt
Blue jeans-yellow t-shirt/shirt
Blue jeans-grey t-shirt
Blue jeans-shirt (with blue/green stripes)
Black jeans-light brown/skin brown t-shirt/shirt
Black jeans-green t-shirt/shirt
Black jeans-maroon t-shirt/shirt
Non-denims (khaki/off-white)-white shirt/t-shirt
Non-denims (khaki/off white)-navy-blue shirt/t-shirt
Non-denims (brown)-off-white shirt/t-shirt
Formals:
Black suit-blue shirt-yellow tie
Navy-blue suit-sky blue/white shirt-maroon tie
Steel grey suit-white/light grey shirt-grey/green tie
Camel brown suit-sky blue shirt-navy blue/tan tie
Dark green suit-white/ivory shirt-yellow tie

Don’ts:
  • Prefer not keeping long hair and long nails (that’s feminine).
  • Always avoid wearing gaudy colours/clothes such as silvery shirts, red/yellow trousers etc.
  • Wear clothes according to the season, for example don’t try to impress girls by wearing t-shirts in winter. Girls will get cross instead.
  • At parties do not wear white socks with formal shoes. White socks are casual wear. Prefer dark coloured socks at such occasions.
  • Avoid wearing feminine articles such as ear-rings..
  • Never wear Punjabi-jutti with jeans/non-denims.
  • Never wear stinky socks, shirts etc.
  • With light coloured trousers prefer brown/tan shoes to black ones.
  • Do not wear formal shoes with jeans/non denims and sports shoes with formal trousers.
Keep spruced up!
