| Junior Member | In the name of Patriotism... HEROISM ON COMMAND, SENSELESS VIOLENCE, AND ALL THE LOATHSOME NONSENSE THAT GOES BY THE NAME OF PATRIOTISM - HOW PASSIONATELY I HATE THEM - Albert Einstein I came across this quote in a newspaper. I fits perfectly well my ideas regarding war(cuz its supposed to be full on patriotic affair right!). How many of us, then, are patriotic in the real sense and want our country to suceed and develop? and not spend crores on denfence sending lakhs of young men to the border ready to kill people they dont even know bout n whom they might as well be friends with (if they met in a bar that is, remember the poem...THE MAN HE KILLED, war is quaint) The point, my friends, is .....how do u define patriotism then? is it to DIE for ur country....or it is to LIVE for it? | |
