True Story........

Several years ago, I was trying to cope with a divorce and the feelings of utter betrayal. My thoughts of betrayal was overshadowed by financial problems as well as worries about being a single parent of a 12 year old daughter. I prayed to God one night and told him that my problems were so great that I couldn't deal with them anymore.
The next day I went to work at the Tennessee Department of Corrections as an Inmate Relations Coordinator, just as many days before. This day there was a line of inmates stretching off into the hallway, waiting for me to open my office. I was thinking to myself, I sure dont want to deal with this today. I reluctantly went to my office and started seeing inmates.

The very first inmate that came into my office I had known for several years and he usually needed help when he came to see you. This individual entered and said" I know that you can't help me with this problem, but I need to talk to someone".He started telling me about his 14 year old daughter and how that she had been raped 2 years before and she was just diagnosed with full blown AIDS. This inmate went on to say that his daughter would be dead before he got out of prison and that he would never see her again. My problems seemed miniscule as compared to his. He finished talking and told me" thank you for listening" and he left. I had cold chills because I knew that God was telling me" your problems are nothing as compared to others" and he sent that message to me all day long. Every individual that came into my office that day had problems much greater than mine.

The weird thing is that I had been around these people for several years and I knew nothing about what they had just told me.

I did realize that God answers prayers, even if it isn't quite how you want them answered.

So nevere feel left out or think that its only happening to you ........ everybody around has problems .......

A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted. As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible. Angrily, he raised his voice at his father and said, "With all your money you give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the holy book. Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care things. When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...PAID IN FULL. How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?

Ya its quite true ppl tend to forget god, who made this universe nd sumtimes ppl think that everything is under their control nd if sumthing don't go fine they will feel depressed nd gets angry.
