A GIRL's woes :(

There is a guy in my class, for a few days, I have been observing that he is showing some undue interest in me and my affairs... My projects, my attendance and even my project team activity.

Now, for me, I don't have any feelings for this guys and do not intend to have any either. I am from a strictly conservative punjabi family, and we are not open to such relations. Most of the girls here do not talk to any boys in the class.

This guy keeps on looking at me at weird times like during a lecture. I am not at all interested and don't want to talk to him either.

How do I get rid of him now?

Before I say something related to your problem I want to say that I don't expect someone of your age (~ 23) to not know how to deal with this problem. And you belong to chandigarh so I kind of find it hard to belive that girls don't even talk to boys.

Let's get back to the problem.If he just stares at you, go ask him what his intentions were. If he says he likes you or something just tell me you are not intrested.Simple as that. As you mentioned he interferes with your affairs just tell him " It's none of your business ". That should not be hard either.

You also said you don't have any feelings for him. So there is no question of if your family approves of such relationships.

You said you don't want to talk to him but when he does interfere with your stuff you can atleast ask him to mind his own business.

What I did for one such situation was after the lecture I went upto the guy and I asked him "ki gal koi kam nahi aa swer da ghuri janda" ( I used to talk in punjabi in class thought it was not allowed ). He goes like "mere marji aa mein jinu marji wekhan". I said " I can understand I am so pretty you just can't stop staring at me. " Api Hatgya
But I was never shy so I did not have problem talking to boys.And yeah I never let anyone interfere with any of my business. Learn to give it back to them right at the spot!!

Well the problem which u told abt maybe a bit dicybut not something too big to be apart of your life. Think maybe uhave created thisproblem yourself. U need tosort out the things with the guy. I am from Chandigarh too but live in USA. Student out there and what iu have been noticing all the time in my life is that wepeople neverhave sucha seriousprob asmuchwe make outof it so u got to thinkupon it and if u think he is a nice guyucan be friends otherwise ugotto talk to him very patientley all right.
