World cup '07 Openers !!!

Tell me guys who should open innings for Indian cricket team in 2007 world cup.....

going by the present form sehwag shud nt be in the team itself.....but sachin shud cme one or two down to strengthen the middle order,which means obviously ganguly shud open

Hmmm..But Karan dont u think Sehwag is a match winner by himself...not of course going by his current form..he look like an Idiot ....but for these Power plays India dont have any batsman who can litterally tear apart any bowling ...sachin and Dravid are the palyers who should play sheet anchor roles...and Sehwag , Dhoni should go for it...so to me Sachin and Saurav should open...Sehwag no 3..

well,jagtinder...this has been the thinking of selectors for far too long now,to allow sehwag to continue in the team especially wid sehwag himself taking his place so lightly and for granted in the team...anways lets c wat happens in future......having said all dis i myself have been a great fan of sehwag but wid his callousness he's let many of his fans like me down...

Hmmmmm..Quite right. Also what about the nomination of Sachin Tendulkar as vice-captain for the one-dayers against the West Indies. I would have thought it was irrelevant till a reason emerged, that should Dravid not perform well enough at the World Cup, Tendulkar might be offered the job.

It is irrelevant and it is ridiculous. It is less than two months to go before the World Cup and putting one more item on Dravid's things-to-worry-about list makes no sense at all. Damned selectors....
