Hello friends, I've been lately thinking about a few things... Picture this... How a family of loving people started from LC... A few years ago... When in 1999, I, alongwith my team - Disha, Smisha, Nidhie, Harjinder, Harwinder and Rahul, all freshers from PEC, came up with LC... After the unimaginable success came an era when there used to be a lot of excitement at LC with it's unique moderated chatting service - when we had the Lovers' Licence, The Agony Aunt and LC's Love or Hate messages service... And the days when we had a limited 50-user chat service when even we as moderators used to wait to get into the room... LOL! Sometimes, one would keep a 'seat' for one's fellow in the room by logging in from 2 windows! Woosh... Anyways, as I graduated from PEC, I came across several lovely people - most significant of them being Sunny - the charismatic Mast_Maula of LC... He, alongwith Dolly, created such a community of loving people around the Chats we used to have in the online rooms... that LCians actually became 'real people' of a virtual world... and at the horizon where this LC's virtual world met Chandigarh's real world, we used to have lively get-together parties and the media named us - "the LC Family". LC owes more to Sunny than to any other single individual LCian... Hat's Off to him! This followed the launch of our LC Forum more than 2 years ago; which, with Arsh Dhillon's efforts and technical expertise, became an instant hit! We registered a record ten thousand users in less than a year! Today, on the eve of New Year 2007, I take this opportunity to thank all my lovely people who have been associated with LoveChandigarh.Com at one time or the other. LC is yours, friends - you people have made it! Yeah, people change, their priorities, lives and careers change, but the time which you have given to LC is priceless, precious and your contribution will never be forgotten... ... They tell me, I am a man of words, but then, the world is made and created with words... Isn't it? It's the words which made the World leaders lead us and eventually change the course of history! Life is learnt by experiences, not by age... Incidents and events, not years, hone and mature you... In my life's 26-27 years or so, truly speaking, I am yet to find a person who is "really" bad. Even when I found some who were labelled as 'bad', a closer look revealed- their reasons were so very genuine for them and in their own way of thinking! As said - "Music for one is noise for another!" ... So, people err, you and I err too... but we don't stop caring, the love is not lost! and DEFINITELY not at LC! Never! Anyways, LC now is under a major phase of transition - technically and otherwise... CHANGE IS LIFE... people will keep coming to LC, newbies, new faces, new friends, new lovers... I can well understand that some of those deeply associated with LC are now pre-occupied with their jobs, family, newer-projects, and more... But as LC binds us all, and I call upon my lovely LCians to occassionally keep coming back over and over... LC's calling! For all LCians, old and new, I personally invite you to come and participate in the chat room together at one time... and that would be at 1200 and 1900 hours IST on Friday, 12th of January 2007... I will try to put-forth a reminder a couple of days before that too! Hope to see you there! ... I have penned a few lines on the New Year especially for my lovely LCians... 2007's Special wishes for LCians... Jab mann ho raha ho udaas kabhi, LC par aa jaana... Aur jab mann mein ho ullaas kabhi, LC pe chale aana! Khushiyaan baanteinge mil-jul kar, sab LCians online... Aur thudde maar-maar ke kar denge, sabhi dukh off-line! Naye new-new smileys se kheench kheench kar laatein... Khilli udaayenge ik dooje ki, mazaakiya hongi baatein! .... Nava saal ho happy happy, Rabb ton ehio gujaarish hai... Prem pyaar ho chaare paasse, LCians di eho sifarish hai! Pichhli misunderstandingaan bhula ke, enter kariye dilaan de ander... Fer ikk ikk LCian nu jaffiyaan paa ke, dilaan de jetu baniye Sikander! Charhdi kalaan 'ch rehan Punjabi, jimme 'Arsh' chumbdi guddiyaan... Te LC family udo 'Mast' rehndi, jad katthe hon munde te kudiyaan! ... Praying today on new year's eve, May happy 2007 be so eventful... No matter what tests LCians are put to, we'll always be successful! Surpizes await all beautiful hearts, as we enter into the new year... Masti, mazza, masala @ LC... Chit-chat and discussions without fear! Differences, hatred - all's forgotten; for it's not the LC's ways... And I'll always keep sayin' - Love Always, Love Always, Love Always! Love Always...
