The world is divided. No doubt he had a charismatic personality and he was the real world leader, but then fate had something else in store. It was a very poor and shameful end for Saddam. On one side there are thousands of families who were victim of his atrocities and on the other there are large groups who supported his viewpoint.

Yes, an era is over now. Saddam is past.

Yes, but hanged for crimes against humanity.....well on the same lines why not hang George Bush for his crimes against the people of Iraq...

There is violence all over the world and the world is divided. The main issue being the timing of Saddam's execution and the way he was executed - all being shown to the public now, there are widespread protests.

They say, he's had a fair trial... what say....

new year is here and bakra eid is also approaching.

one side america is celebrating new year and left behind many peoples in tears (those supporting saddam). all TV channels is flooded with this issue only since morning

I feel this is what Saddam deserved.....for the genocide he did he deserved Capital Punishment only......but yes the trial wasnt fair as it was basically Bush influenced. This execution was as if it was merely what Bush had wanted rather than being Justice to the humanity. No doubt Saddam deserved such a death but the whole motive behind it was wrong...just wish the tensions in Iraq ease out.

Yahi toh hai naa ke maut to woh deserve karta tha lekin tareeka aur timing dekhna bahoot zaroori tha. Bakereid ki eve par saari muslim community ko Saddam ki hanging ka khel saari duniya ke TV par dikhaya gaya, jis wajah se aur kitni violence hui hai aur kitne logon ki jaan aur chali gayi hai
