The Story Of Dowry Untold, Is What I Unfold.
It Was Centuries Ago That The Parents To Help Their Daughters Settle, Gave Them Essentials Of Life, Like Utensils, Knives And Kettles.
Now It Is The Dowry That Is Prime,
For Which The Boy And His Parents Pine.
For Inadequate Dowry They Burn Their Wives,
Not Once But Many A Times.
I Can not Belive It ,
That Anyone In Their Right Mind,
Can Do Some Thing Of This Kind.
The Woman A Symbol Of Life,
Gives Birth To Boy And Girl Alike.
She Is A Mother, A Sister , A Friend Even A Wife,
Why Do We Give Her Nothing But Strife.
My Eyes Fill Up With Tears,
When I Hear Of Inhuman People, Who Hold Nothing To Them Dear,
Except Money Which Is Their Prayer. | | |
